Description
What is Etifine(Etizolam)?
Etifine (Etizolam) is a drug that is used for the treatment of anxiety and depression and is a commonly prescribed medicine for people suffering from the same. The drug resembles the benzodiazepine meds available in the market. The main constituent of this medicine is Etizolam but the chemical structure of this is unlike other benzodiazepines. The structure has a thiophenic ring in comparison to the other benzodiazepines. Hence we can say that this thieno diazepine has the same characteristics as that of benzodiazepines.
Uses of Etifine
People suffering from extreme sleep disorders have been prescribed with this medicine. This medicine works as a sedative and helps in the cure of anxiety as well. This drug also helps people who have been suffering from extreme fear and panic disorder. This medicine has proved to help people in calming down and treat their anxiousness very effectively.
How does Etifine(Etizolam) work?
Comprising of Etizolam, it is a thienotriazolodiazepine. Which in itself is an analog of benzodiazepines. It is beneficial because it acts as a repetitive sedative an anxiolytic, an anticonvulsant and as a gaunt muscle relaxant and has many characteristics that help in aiding many medical conditions of a human body.
How does Etifine treat Anxiety?
Our brain activity mainly works through neurotransmitters. The neurons pass the messages to each part of our entire body and are the main reason why we behave in any certain way. All the responses and emotions of our body are transmitted through these neurons and are dependent on the external stimuli which excite the neurons accordingly.
When a person becomes anxious, certain stimuli or external force makes us feel the same and it can be the real fear or the one that is just perceived by the person. If a person feels anxious, the mental ability and brain activity increases in a person and the neurotransmitters act in a very haphazard way and due to that an undue confusion starts in our head that in turn makes a person anxious and over stimulates one’s nervous system.
Such anxiousness comes in hand with some consequences or we can say it can be characterized and recognized by various physical changes that include:
Increased heart rate
Fast Breathing
Shivering
Body Tremors
Also, the above-mentioned changes can be different for different people
When the body reflects the above mentioned common effects of anxiety in people, then a defense mechanism starts in our nervous system which in turn asks our body to relax and calm down by sending the message through the neurotransmitters in response to the anxiety.
There is a particular type of neurotransmitter that allows the relaxation of the anxiety in a human body and that is called GABA neurotransmitter. (GAMMA-AMINOBUTYRIC ACID).When the human brain transmits GABA, in response to it a billion of brain signals receive this particular signal and respond to it to ease out the anxiety and helps in the relaxation and calming down of a person.
This medicine Etizolam helps the GABA neurotransmitter to work faster than it already does and hence we feel more relaxed than we would have without it hence nullifying our anxiousness and fear
